Our dog walking service offers fun walks and park runs seven days a week, from 7am to 9pm on weekdays and 8am to 8pm on weekends (subject to availabilty and service area). We offer individual and small group walks. All of our walkers are bonded and insured and are trained in animal safety and first aid. We have been professionally walking dogs for over 20 years!

Types of Walks
For your convenience Biscuits & Bath offers two types of walks to choose from. All walks are either with a friend or two (never more than four at a time!) or for an additional charge, individually. We do NOT pack walk dogs. Our walkers are bonded and insured and are trained in first aid. It is our goal, although we cannot guarantee this, to have the same walker on a consistent basis as this allows for a stronger bond between your dog and our walker.

One-Hour Park Runs
Biscuits & Bath offers Park Runs in neighborhood parks throughout Manhattan where possible. These walks are great for energetic dogs that need a long stretch and need the grass for encouragement to go to the bathroom. Please note that your dog may NOT be walked in a park at our discretion based on where you live and our schedule.

30-Minute Fun Walks
Biscuits & Bath‘s Fun Walks are just that - FUN! The walk is a 1/2 hour door-to-door including time entering and leaving your building. These walks are great for energetic dogs that need a good stretch and need time for encouragement to go to the bathroom.

Puppy Sittings
We also offer puppy sitting services for your new addition. We will come and change your dog's paper, refresh his water, and spend some time playing with him. These sessions last 30 minutes door-to-door including time entering and leaving your building. Once your dog is three months old, we suggest active socialization by bringing him in to meet some new friends. Ask us about our unique Puppy Promotion - it is a great way to begin the training and development process at an impressionable age before his personality starts to form and behavior issues become harder to address.

Service Areas
Biscuits & Bath offers dog walking in Manhattan for our regular clients from 96th Street to Chambers Street. We also walk in Battery Park City. Additional service areas may be available depending on our schedule and demand - please inquire.

Booking Reservations
We walk dogs 365 days per year, from 7am to 9pm on weekdays and from 8am to 8pm on weekends. At least 24-hours notice is required for any walk. All weekend walks for regular walking clients must be scheduled no later than Friday at noon. We always try to accommodate last minute requests as well as emergencies but cannot guarantee service. If we are able to accomodate a last minute request you will be charged an additional fee. Also look into day care possibilities if you are stuck.

Dog Walking Times
As dog walking is a difficult service to provide and many things are out of our control (e.g. weather, doormen) we cannot gaurantee that we can walk your dog at any specified time. For dog walking we require a two-hour window around the scheduled time of the walk. For example, if you request a 30-minute Fun Walk at 10am, Biscuits & Bath will arrive to walk your dog between 9am and 11am. Please note that in this example if we arrive at 11am, the walk will finish at 11:30am. While we will do our best to walk your dog as close to your preferred time as possible we cannot gaurantee that we will be able to do so. We also reserve the right at any time to increase the window around your desired time.

Dog Walkers
Biscuits & Bath has the finest group of dog walkers in New York City. All of our walkers are screened, trained, bonded and insured. While we do our best to ensure that the same people walk your dog on a regualar basis, we cannot gaurantee that you will have the same walker(s) for your dog. This is due to the fact that we walk dogs 365 days per year from morning until night and work as a team to ensure that all dogs get the best service possible. Please be understanding if you see a face that you do not always see on a regular basis.

Having A Regular Walking Schedule
In order to be a Biscuits & Bath dog walking client, you MUST maintain a regular schedule. This means that you MUST commit to walking a minimum of five times per week on the same days and at the same times each week for an entire calendar month. We do not walk dogs who are not on a regular schedule. If you are on a regular schedule, and want an extra walk or need to switch a walk time periodically for a good reason, we will make every effort to accomodate your request although cannot guarantee service given the logistical challenge of walking dogs.

Walking Policy
The following is required by you for Biscuits & Bath to walk your dog:

Either two sets of keys to your apartment or written permission of access with the doorman/concierge (access to your apartment)
A towel by the door for rainy days
Access to water after the walk is over
A suitable place where we can leave notes from the walks
A safe collar or harness

Slip Collars
Please note that for safety reasons, we walk all dogs with slip collars. Keep in mind that the slip collar will only engage, and therefore pull on your dog's neck, in the event that your dog's collar breaks. This small amount of discomfort is much less problematic than a loose dog in the streets of New York City.
