To our Biscuits & Bath Parents,

As you know, health and safety for your pup is the primary concern at Biscuits & Bath. We are sending this email to pass on information that we have gathered from local vets and from parents who have notified us of some common symptoms that they have been noticing in doggies recently. It has come to our attention in the past several weeks that some parents have seen symptoms of sneezing, runny noses, coughing and/or diarrhea in their doggies.

In the past several weeks we have heard of doggies in the Greenwich Village, Upper East Side, and Murray Hill areas showing these symptoms. Of the cases reported to us, a few of them have been determined to be Canine Influenza.

While the vast majority of the doggies who visit us are happy and healthy, we are passing this information on to you, the parents, so that you may know what symptoms to keep an eye out for in your pooch. If you notice any of the above symptoms in your pup, we urge you to contact your veterinarian and also to contact us at Biscuits & Bath so that we may keep accurate records. We use the information you give us to liaise with local veterinarians, New York City's Center for Disease Control, and most importantly our extended Biscuits & Bath family -- you!
